Reed, Alexander D.

Alexander D. Reed 61, of Binghamton was set free with his family by his side on May 24, 2014. He was predeceased by his parents David and Ede Reed. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Mary; daughter Cara Marie Riley; daughter Alexa Mary Pado and son-in-law Jared Pado who was very special to him; and his beloved cat Cleo. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He was a graduate of UE High School and Rutgers University with a degree in Golf Course Management. He was employed for many years with Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital and was Superintendent of Belden Hill Golf Course and En-Joie. Despite many years of illness he never lost his sense of humor. Amongst his many accomplishments he was the best husband, father and friend. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial donation can be made to the The Humane Society 2 Jackson St. Binghamton, NY 13903. OORAH!
