Cox, Kathryn C.

Kathryn C. Cox, 97, of Vestal, passed away peacefully with her grandson Chris by her side on Tuesday, June 17, 2014. She is predeceased by her husband, Merton; daughter, Barbara; son-in-law, John; brother, Kenneth; sister, Theresa. Kathryn is survived by her two grandsons, Chris (Carol), John (Maria); three great-grandchildren, Christina, Carissa and Barbara; brother, John; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Kathryn was a 30 year volunteer at the Vestal Senior Center were she enjoyed taking trips and companionship. Her fondest times were spent camping and fishing with her husband Merton in the Adirondacks. Fish Creek was her home away from home. Funeral Services for Kathryn will be held on Saturday at 10 AM at the Allen Memorial Home 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, with Deacon Dale Crotsley of Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Vestal, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Endicott. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, Saturday from 9 AM until service time at 10 AM.
