Shultz, Leonard H. "Whitey"

Montrose, PA: Leonard H. "Whitey" Shultz, 85, of Montrose, PA, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at Gracious Living Estates, after an extended illness. He was born on July 18, 1928 in Berwick, PA, to the late Peter K. and Gertrude (Hartman) Shultz. Whitey is survived by his daughter, Diana Kane, Montrose, PA, four sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Judy Shultz, Montrose, PA, Gordon Shultz, Montrose, PA, Louie Shultz, Dingmans Ferry, PA, Clayton and Dawn Shultz, Montrose, PA, four grandchildren and their spouses, Sarah and Kevin Chubbuck, Maureen and Jason Campbell, Cameron Kane, and Allen Shultz, two great grandchildren, Molly and Wesley Chubbuck, sister, Dorethea Shultz, several nieces and nephews. Whitey was a skilled welder; he worked out of the Iron Workers Union in the Triple Cites. He loved to listen to, and play Bluegrass music; he was highly accomplished playing the guitar, banjo and harmonica. He had a great life; he lived it to the fullest, and he loved his family very much. Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 23, 2014 at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Montrose Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Whitey's name can be made to the .
