Chenango Bridge: Donald M. Johnson ,93, of Chenango Bridge NY passed away early Monday, June 23. He was born in Hector NY and grew up around the Finger Lakes, and Tioga area before settling in the Bridge. He is predeceased by his wife of 66 years, Viola (Dot), and grandson Cheyn. He is survived by his sister, Kay Onderdonk, his children, Joyce (Bill) Bethel, Mary Taylor, Melissa (Mike) Hill, Dale (Kelly) Johnson, Kimberly Whetsell (Jon Braden). Grandchildren, Josh, Joel, Shanna (Taylor), Lianna, Shiloh, Logan, Arianna (Hill), Crystal, Shawn, Leila, Max (Johnson), Heather, Brendan, Breanna (Whetsell), Torilyn (Braden), eight Great- Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a WWII veteran. He retired from Sears after many years of service. He volunteered on the Broome Ambulance and was a Scout Master for Troop 155 back in the day and a Commissioner with the Boy Scouts. He was a family man, well loved, and will be greatly missed. He was among the original members of St. Mark's Episcopal Church. A memorial service will be held at St. Mark's, 728 River Rd. Chenango Bridge, on Saturday June 28th at 11:00. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Mark's memorial fund (P.O.
