Sivers, Duane

Montrose, PA: Duane Sivers, 83, of Montrose, PA, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, June 25, 2014. He was born in Rush Twp., PA to the late Francis H. and Mildred O. (Estus) Sivers. His wife of 55 years, Doris L. (Millard) Sivers, predeceased Duane in 2007. He is survived by his two daughters and son-in-law, Diane Truman, Montrose, PA, Sue and Burley Myers, Hamptonville, NC; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Sonny and Linda Sivers, South Gibson, PA, Al and Edye Sivers, Forest Lake, PA; 12 grandchildren, Jennifer Lucas, Wendy Thomas and Timothy Sivers, Kristina Wilcox and Jason Truman, Ben and Becky Richards, Brandon and Aaron Myers, Justin and Ashley Huff, Jessica Sivers, 15 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Linda Sivers; three sisters, Iva Beecher, Dee Oleniacz, and Carol Jones; aunt, Violet Sivers; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Duane worked as a farmer, baker, factory worker and custodian of the Montrose School District. He was a member of the Fairdale United Methodist Church. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 30, 2014, at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home with Doug Sivers officiating. Interment will be in the Rush Center Memorial Park, Rush Twp., PA. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions in Duane's memory can be made to the Fairdale United Methodist Church c/o Gail Warner, Babcock Rd., Montrose, PA 18801.
