Montrose, PA: Richard John Greenwood, 44, of Montrose, PA, went home with the Lord after an extended illness on Friday, June 27, 2014, at his home. He was born in Binghamton, NY on March 3, 1970. He is survived by his wife, Sherre; daughters, Cierra and Dakota; mother and step-father, Michelle and Douglas Brunelle, sisters, Heather (Elaine), Charity (Jackie), Courtney (Stephanie); several nieces and many close friends he considered family. Richard was employed with Broome Tioga BOCES for over 23 years and a master trainer within the organization. He was President of the Association of United Professionals for over 20 years, President of the Hallstead-Great Bend Rod and Gun Association, President of the Susquehanna County Federation of Sportsmen's Clubs. He was a NYS Master Instructor of Hunter Education, NRA Certified Instructor and NRA Life Member. Richard was an avid shooter, hunter, and outdoorsman. He lived every day to the fullest and inspired all those around him with his unwavering strength and courage. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at the Bridgewater Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Kadlecik officiating. Interment will be in the Montrose Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday evening at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home.
