MAXINE A . HEATH

87, of Great Bend, PA was called home to be with the Lord on June 28, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Austin and Blanche Garis and was also predeceased by her beloved husband of 62 years, Gordon Heath, a grandson, Joseph Gard, a sister, Mildred Parker, and two brothers, Donald Garis and Russell Garis. Maxine is survived by three daughters, Darlene Skellett, Sandra and Kenneth Tingley, Rebecca and Timothy O'Neill; grandchildren, Jodee Gard, Susan Prince, Gordon Skellett, Lisa Cotrell, Jody Quick, Christopher Bronson, Mary Blair, Bethann Masters, Brandy Carpenter, Shannon O'Neill; 18 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; one sister, Joan Cranmer; a close friend, Tony Napolitano; and several nieces and nephews. Maxine was a charter member of the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, Great Bend, PA. She enjoyed reading, shopping, church activities, bible studies, and spending time with her family. Maxine was a loving mother and grandmother. She was always ready to help anyone. Maxine will be greatly missed by family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 3, 2014 at the Great Bend Alliance Church. Interment will be made in Woodlawn Cemetery, Great Bend, PA. Friends may call on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Hallstead, PA from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the Great Bend Alliance Church, P.O. Box 54, Great Bend, PA 18821.
