Rudik, Michael (Mike)

Michael (Mike) Rudik, 84, of Johnson City, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday July 29, 2014. He was predeceased by his grandson, Matthew Algas; two sisters and three brothers-in-law, Mary (John) Vincenec, Sue (Leon) Herrick, Larry Pagliano. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Jean (Elnicky) Rudik; five children, Debra Rudik, Melanie (Mel) Algas, Patricia Rudik, John Rudik, Steven Rudik; four grandchildren, Ivan Rudik, Samuel Rudik, Carlie Algas, Nathan Rudik; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Ann Pagliano, Helen (Roger) Faling. He was a member of St. Mary's Orthodox Church, Endicott and the Broome County Beagle Club. He was a self-employed mason contractor. Funeral services will be held Saturday 11:00 am at St. Mary's Orthodox Church, 1907 Jenkins St., Endicott with the Very Rev. Michael Kleban, officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc. 1905 Watson Blvd. Endicott on Friday from 6 to 8 pm. Fr. Michael Kleban will hold Parastas, Friday evening 8 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to St. Mary's Orthodox Church.
