Ehrets, Thelma H.

Binghamton: Thelma (Hoadley) Ehrets passed away peacefully on August 7, 2014. Thelma was born on 4-2-1920 to Fannie & William Hoadley of Windsor, N.Y. She along with her twin sister were the youngest of 9 children. She was a homemaker who loved attending to her flowers and making her yard look beautiful. She assisted her husband with the family business (Community Motor/Rentals.) for many years. She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence F. Ehrets, son Lawrence G. Ehrets, great & great great granddaughters Cristin & Rylie (Bronson) Hulbert and grandaughter in law Kathryn Bronson. She is survived by her daughter Jean (Harvey) Smith, daughter in law Nancy Ehrets, grandchildren Edwin (Cynthia) Bronson Jr. William Bronson, Julie (William) Hooks, Mark Ehrets (Richard Evans) Melody (Frederick) Karp, Michelle (Paul) Plutino, great grandchildren Jennifer (Jeremiah) Rawson, Matthew Bronson, Colten & Brandie Bronson Cheyenne (Benjamin) Little. Great-great grandchildren Julianna & Jacob Rawson. The family would like to thank the nurses & aides on the 2nd floor of Elizabeth Church Manor for their care & kindness. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday at 1:00pm at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home 737 Chenango St. Port Dickinson with Rev. Janet Abel officiating with a private burial following. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00pm to 1:00pm on Tuesday.
