Radicchi, Rita M.

Rita M. Radicchi (Bucci) 96, of Binghamton, went to be with the lord on August 11, 2014. She is predeceased by her husband Carlo Radicchi; daughters Nancei Radicchi and Maryanne Radicchi; brothers Louis Bucci and Charles Bucci; as well as a close friend Helen Solomon. She is survived by her daughter Karyn Radicchi-Svoboda (Bill); daughter-in-law Barbie Hubley; grandchildren Kendra Sabha (Rick), Tammy Ramsey (Dave); great-granddaughter Chloe Sabha; brother Leo Bucci; sister-in-laws Elsie Bucci and Ruth Radicchi; close friends Frances Williams and Phil DeRose; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Rita's house was always like Grand Central Station, people always coming and going and nobody could leave without being fed. Her favorite times were spent sitting around her table drinking cups of tea, with anyone that happened to stop for a visit. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. She also had a kind heart and was very giving. She was a loving and caring person, a second mother to many. She will be dearly missed by all. Rita's family would like to thank the staff at Good Shepherd Fairview Home for their wonderful care they have provided through the years, especially "Rita's Angels" for their loving care. Always know she loved you as her own. Visitation will be held at the THOMAS J. SHEA Funeral Home Inc. 137 Robinson St. Binghamton, NY on Thursday from 4:30 to 7pm. A Funeral Service will follow at 7pm with Msgr. Michael Meagher officiating. Burial will be private at convenience of the family in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Humane Society 2 Jackson St. Binghamton, NY 13903 or the Broome County Chow 3 Otseningo St. Binghamton, NY 13903. Arrangements are in the care of Albert J. DeMarco.
