Kuper, Felix J.

Felix J. Kuper, 101, Endwell NY was taken into the loving arms of his Lord on Sunday, August 17. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Teresa Kuper and siblings, Marion, Rudolph and Frank and his first wife, Margaret Maxey. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of the last 20 years, Mary Cicco-Kuper. He is also survived by daughter Arlene (Ken) Siano; granddaughters, Margaret (Bernado) DeJesus, Dorryann Ringlespaugh and Theresa Bouden; great grandchildren, Michael and Melony; Scott and Nicholas; John, Jay, Jesse and Leana; niece, Susan (Paul) Mayben and grand nephew, Aaron; stepdaughter Suzette (Edward) Warren; sisters-in-law, Lillian Cicco, Phyllis (Edward) Coleman; Marie Cicco and Jean Cicco; brother-in-law Eugene (Celestine) Cicco, dear friends, Pat and Noreen McCaffrey & Tom & Maryann Madrak; and ever vigilant protector and companion, German Shepherd, Ruby. Felix served in the US Army from 1940-45 , where he was a Golden Gloves Boxing Champion for five years. He also served thirty years as a member of the Manhattan NYPD. He enjoyed playing handball and held the title of Elks Club champion for six years. The family would like to express their deepest appreciation and gratitude for the love and loyalty given to Felix by each of his special caregivers: Mark and Pam Reinhard, Dan Clark, Gary Owen, Jolene Bollinger, Jean French, Mary Grannis, Amy Harry, Gary Jones, Joe Marin, Martha Walter, Jummy Omiyale, Portia Barnett, Leslie Weed, Mary Jane Hamilton & Donna Mayo. The family would also like to extend heartfelt thanks to physician assistant John Andrianos, Zeny Mata, Ellen Niu, Lourdes Hospice Staff & dear and devoted friend extraordinaire, Pat Collins-Martin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 22, 11 am at St. Rose of Lima Church, 6 North Church St., Carbondale, Pa.. Burial will follow at Cathedral Cemetery, Oram St., Scranton Pa. The family will receive friends at the Lawrence A. Gabriel Funeral Home, 74 N. Main St., Carbondale Pa, on Thursday, August 21 from 5 pm till 8 pm.
