Cadwell, Albert D.

Albert D. Cadwell 74, of Windsor, passed away peacefully August 28, 2014. He is predeceased by his parents Clarence and Elizabeth Cadwell; sisters Jerry Johnson and Elizabeth Alfred. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Samuella (Kadlecik) Cadwell; children Paul (Kris) Cadwell, Alvin (Patricia) Cadwell, Hamilton (Doreen) Cadwell, Ingrid (Blaine) Cox, Jennifer (James) Stone; 16 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter soon to be Emma Grace; sister Dorothy Heller Cadwell and his beloved dog Cuddles; as well as many nieces and nephews. Albert graduated with honors from West Point, Command General Staff College and Logistics Management. He served in the US Army during Vietnam and is a retired lieutenant Colonel from command 3 battalion and 3 brigade in Hillcrest, NY. He proudly worked under General Colin Powell. Visitation will be held at the THOMAS J. SHEA Funeral Home Inc. 137 Robinson St. Binghamton, NY on Friday from 4 to 7pm. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday at the Funeral Home at 10am. Internment will follow at Vestal Hills Memorial Park with full military honors. Memorial donations may be made in Albert's name to the Humane Society 2 Jackson St. Binghamton, NY 13903.
