Patricia E. DuBrava Carpenter Zoref, 67, of Tucson, Ariz., formerly of Binghamton, died Monday, October 27, 2008, in Tucson after an extended illness. She was the daughter of the late Theodore S. DuBrava and Elizabeth DuBrava. She was predeceased by her first husband, Ernest P. Carpenter. She is survived by her husband, Arthur Zoref; her step-mother, Anna DuBrava; her brother and families, Theodore J. and Pat DuBrava; Ted. Jr., Justin, and Molly DuBrava, David DuBrava; her sister and family, Annette and Jeff Dabella, Sara, Amy and Chris; aunt and uncle, Ingrid and Patrick Salvage; also her close friends, Sandy and Shirley. Pat was a longtime local nurse who graduated from Binghamton Central High School and the Charles S. Wilson Hospital School of Nursing to start her career. She was a great sister, aunt, and very loving wife. Pat will be sadly missed by all who knew her and the lives of all she touched.
Graveside services will be held in Vestal Hills Memorial Park Thursday, November 6, 2008, at 1 p.m. Arrangements are by the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton.
