Roberts, Charlotte M.

Port Crane: age 65, of Port Crane, NY went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly at her residence, Wednesday, February 16th, 2011. She was predeceased by her parents, Clara Marie and Bruce Donald Roberts.

She is survived by her loving children, Scott (Amy) Nejeschleba, Robin (Jeff) Davern, Paul Nejeschleba, and Kim (Ish) Villafane; seven grandchildren - Daniel, Kristina, Jessica, Haley, Paul, Justin and Jennifer;

two sisters, Rita (Fred) Moore and Bonnie Rafferty;

two brothers, Donald (Marie) and William (Sally) Roberts; a stepmother, Beverly Roberts; a half brother, Joseph (Susan) Roberts; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Charlotte was a member of Community Bible Church, and a nurse for 37 years - 17 at Rivermeade Nursing Home and finally retired after 20 more years at The Binghamton Psychiatric Center in 2009. Charlotte was dedicated to her job, taking care of the elderly and the mentally challenged. She will be truly missed by all who knew her. Her voice will be missed from her trio and the choir, by her Church family, whom she loved and enjoyed. Charlotte had a passion for taking long walks. Her two beloved cats will be lost without her. A Funeral service will be offered 11:00 AM, Monday, February 21st at Community Bible Church, 602 Chenango Street, Binghamton, New York. Pastor M. Ray McCrary will Officiate. Burial will be in Nineveh Cemetery in the Spring at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the Walter D. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, Inc. 45 Oak Street, Binghamton, NY, Sunday, February 20th from 2 until 4 PM, and Monday from 10 AM until the time of the service at the Church.
