Lisle: David J. Brown, 70, passed away on 2/26/2012 and was received in Heaven by his life partner, Francis (Frank) R. Ostrowski, 73, who passed away on 1/27/2012. Frank and Dave shared their lives for almost 46 years and enjoyed each other's interests. Their love of animals showed in the care given to their many beloved pets that they had over the years. They are survived by their loving dog, Rufus. Frank shared his love of gardening with Dave, who in turn took some spectacular photographs of the wonderful flowers that were grown in their gardens. David had the love of constant growth as an intellectual and over the course of his lifetime had earned 18 different degrees, most of which were in and related to the field of Astronomy. Frank is survived by Aunt Pauline Shuba; cousins, Dorothy Broderick and Elaine Chriscoe; and a special friend, Joanne Frechette. David was happy that Hospice of Vestal, Dr. Dan Driscoll and a special friend made his last wish possible. A memorial service will be made at a later day at the convenience of family to celebrate their lives. In lieu of flowers for the memorial service, please consider a donation to a local animal charity or hospice in your area.
