Dorothy Vicari Obituary
Afton: Dorothy Vicari of Afton, died at home of natural causes on Wednesday, June 27, 2012. She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Manny, and her grandson, James Harley. Dorothy is survived by her brother and sister, George and Yolanda Diglio of Endicott NY. She also leaves behind two daughters and a son-in-law, Angela Hunter of Solvang California, Judy and Deacon Tom Harley, Endicott, NY; her grandchildren Michael Harley (Shanaz), St. Paul, MN and Katherine Risoli (Tom), Vestal NY as well as a granddaughter-in-law, Mary Harley, Endicott NY. Dorothy was a great grandmother of six children: Robert Risoli, Mehdi, Patrick, Sophia, Elizabeth and Thomas Harley. Dorothy was a member of St. Agnes Church where she sang in the choir. Dorothy loved life and knew how to have a good time. We will never celebrate Christmas or a birthday, walk on a beach or visit Disney World, not a day will go by without missing our mom and grandmother.
A Funeral Mass will be offered on Mon. at 2:30 p.m. at St. Agnes Church, Spring St. Afton. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endicott at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at St. Agnes Church on Mon. from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. prior to Mass. Memorial contributions may be made to The Alzheimer's Assoc., CNY Chapter, 401 Hayes Ave. Endicott, NY 13760. On-line condolences may be made at: www.omaddenfh.com
