Binghamton: Filomena DeOrazio, 94, died peacefully at Ideal Living Center on Monday, February 18, 2013. She was predeceased by her parents, Jeanette and Joseph Altiery; her husband, Dominic DeOrazio; great granddaughter, Nicole Lloyd DeOrazio; and her sister and brother-in-law, Josephine and Fred Malenich. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Richard and Patricia DeOrazio, Windsor, NY; grandchildren Diana (David) Hayden, Endicott, NY and Tina (Islam) Bakr, Endicott, NY; great grandchildren Andrew (Adison) Tarbox, Victoria Lloyd DeOrazio, Jacob Hayden and Joshua Hayden all of Endicott, NY; great great grandchild Mila Tarbox, Endicott, NY; sister and brother-in-law Florence and Robert Savo, Binghamton, NY; several nieces and nephews. Filomena was born in Harpursville, NY but was a long-time resident of Binghamton. She was a retiree of Great American Supermarket. She was also co-owner of the Red & White grocery store on Leroy Street, Binghamton. She loved to cook and bake, especially for her family. The family would like to thank the kind and dedicated staff at Ideal for taking care of Mom for the past 10 years. A Funeral Mass will be offered Friday, February 22, 2013, 11AM at the Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 701 W. Main Street, Endicott, NY. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 9:30AM until the time of service.
