Stephen Lutynski Obituary
Binghamton: Stephen C. Lutynski, 78, of Binghamton, died Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Willow Point Nursing Home after an extended illness. He was predeceased by his wife, Annaliese, in 1996; his parents, Charles Lutynski and Anna Janurzko Lutynski; one sister, Julia Rycki; two brothers, Chester and Thomas Lutynski. He is survived by one daughter, Ann Marie Lutynski of Binghamton; three sons, Harry and Colleen Lutynski of Apalachin, Frank Lutynski and Daniel Lutynski, both of Binghamton; 11 grandchildren; 4 sisters, Irene Nastawa, Dorothy Ann Veraling, Christine (Tina) Macko and Carol Ann Lutynski; also several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Stephen was a retired employee of Anitec Corp. and was a member of SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, and was an Army veteran. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1 p.m. at the Sedlock Funeral Home Inc., 161 Clinton St., and at 1:30 p.m. at St. Cyril's Church, where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Slovak Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 2-5 p.m. The family requests that those wishing make memorial donations in his name to St. Cyril's Church Repair My Church Fund.
