89, of Great Bend, PA, was called home to be with the Lord on March 14, 2013. She was predeceased by her first husband, George Rinker in 1986, her second husband, Louis Timmermans in 2003, her son, Donald Rinker in 1995, and all of her brothers and sisters-in-law, Ival and Jeanette, Harold and Marjorie, Guy and Elsie, and Frank and Frances. Lena is survived by her children Warren and Nancy, Roger and Priscilla, Francis and Helen, David and Kim, Kenneth and Carolyn, Frank and Sandra, Becky and Steve, Patricia, and Mary and Stanley; 17 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Lena made quite a few dolls of various types, crocheted afghans for all of her grandchildren. She enjoyed her friends at the Senior Center, playing dominos. She could often be found fishing or playing bingo. She was a long time member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary, assisting with the chicken and biscuit dinners. More recently she was a resident at Barnes-Kasson S.N.F. She was a loving, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. The family would like to extend sincere appreciation to the staff of S.N.F., Barnes-Kasson Hospital, Dr. Koul, Dr. B. Patel, and Dr. P. Patel for their compassionate care. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 16, 2013, at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Inc., Hallstead, PA with Pastor Dale Bower and Pastor Richard Woodruff. Interment will be made in Brookside Cemetery, Franklin Forks, PA. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday. Should friends so desire, expressions of sympathy may take the form of a donation to Barnes-Kasson S.N.F., 2872 Turnpike Street, Susquehanna, PA 18847 or the American Legion Post #357, P.O. Box 429, Hallstead, PA 18822.
