Harold N. Webb, 85, of O K Street, McGraw, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2013 while under the care of Hospice and his loving family. He was born in Binghamton on August 14, 1927 to Edward and Beatrice Hawks Webb. He was honorably discharged from the US Army in 1947. A lifelong farmer, Harold retired from Maxon Feed in 1989 after more than 35 years of service. In 2006, Harold and Ila moved from Chenango to McGraw and shortly thereafter joined the United Presbyterian Church of Cortland. Harold is survived by his loving wife, Ila A. Thomas Webb; his family, Geri (Gabe) Oakley, Kathy (Clayton) Briggs, Robert Webb (Cindy Ellis), Norman (Denise) Webb, Priscilla (Jim) Petropoulos, Edward (Susan) Webb, Wayne Webb and Todd Webb. Also surviving is his brother, Douglas Webb; sister, B. Opal Walsh and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Harold was predeceased by two daughters, Mary Sherwood and Joy Ellen Webb; a step daughter, Robin Balduf; three brothers, Chester, Donald and Edwin Webb and a sister, E. Catherine Sears. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at the United Presbyterian Church, 25 Church St., Cortland. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions in Mr. Webb's memory may be directed to the Hospice Foundation of Cortland Co., 11 Kennedy Parkway, Cortland, NY 13045. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Donald L. Barber Funeral Home.
