Horton, Thomas E. Sr.

Binghamton: Thomas E. Horton Sr., 75 of Binghamton went to be with the Lord Thursday afternoon May 23, 2013. He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Lina Horton; a sister and brother-in-law, Cora and Howard Smith; a son-in-law, Clarence Lampman; a great nephew, Matthew Ellis; and great niece, Madison Smith. He is survived by his children, Thomas Jr. and Edith Horton, Binghamton, Sharon Lampman, Johnson City, and Carl Horton, Kentucky; two grandsons, Thomas (Pelos) Horton, and Terrell Horton; two sisters, Leatha Smith, and Betty Horton; one brother and sister-in-law, David and Judy Horton; several nieces and nephews. Thomas was a retired employee of Endicott Johnson Corporation, Johnson City with over 35 years of service. He was a member of the Johnson City Eagles Club, and was an avid NY Giants and New York Yankee fan. A Memorial Service will be held at All Saints Episcopal Church, 475 Main Street, Johnson City on Thursday June 6, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. The Rev. Christine J. Day will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church Thursday afternoon from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make memorial contributions to the in Thomas E. Horton Sr memory. Arrangements are by the J.F. Rice Funeral Home, Inc., 150 Main Street, Johnson City, NY.
