Sad to hear of "Uncle Paul's" passing. He was always fun to be around whether at the cottage, in Vestal, at IBM or where ever. We were hoping to spend some time this summer just visiting and talking about times past. He had some wonderful years and once said his best job was when he retired and spending teh time with family. Our prayers are with you all. He will be fondly remembered.

Although I was young when we visited, I remember Mr Hamlin (Jr) when we would go to Vestal to visit his parents...Aunt Grace & Uncle Paul. He was always a nice man and always had such a beautiful dog. May he rest in peace.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Paul's passing. I have bowled in the same leagues with him over the past 30 years. A very good bowler, loved to compete, quick witted and praised others who did well. Highly respected by all. He will be sorely missed. My prayers and condolences to his family.

Marian, when I think of Paul, memories of him bouncing from side to side on the bus selling those fifty/fifty tickets and always remaining cheerful, come to mind. Those many trips I took with KSA made all the better because of his great personality. May your loving memories bring you comfort and give you strength. God bless you, Iva Westfall

Marion, Tom, Dee, and Skip and families - I hold to so many wonderful memories of your dad and will so miss his e-mails. May God bless all of you and surround you with his love. My sympathy to all of you. I can remember going to your house in Vestal while Mom and Daddy, Paul and Jean played cards - and all the camping trips we shared. He was a wonderful man, and will be sadly missed. My love to all of you - Valerie Arnold Bryant

Dear Marian and Family,
I'm so sorry to hear about Paul's passing. He was a wonderful man and a great friend to my dad, Don Miller, with whom he served in the 299th during WWII. I will always remember Paul for his kind words and friendly ways, not only with my dad but with me as well.
My thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

So very sorry to hear about Paul. My dad (Don James) just loved him. They had so many good times together. My dad said that you only have a handful of true friends in this life-Paul was one of them.

Marian and family,
Paul was a very special person an he will be greatly missed by many. I loved his sense of humor and kindness to me and it won't be the same without him offering to sell me his bowling ball on the days it wasn't working well. My love and prayers for you all.

Paul was a great friend of our Dad. They played golfed and went bowling together. Paul even showed up late for my Dad's wake because he had a bowling commitment. I loved it and I know my Dad would do the same. Now he and our Dad are together bowling and golfing everyday. Paul you were a great guy. Cheers

I hope that the wonderful memories of Paul will help alleviate the tremendous loss you are feeling right now. Paul was a dear friend of my Dad (Don James) and we never thought Paul (or as my Dad called him, "Hamlin") was a real person as Dad was always out golfing and bowling with him!!! It wasn't until my Dad's funeral that I finally got to meet this mystery best friend of my Dad's, and after about 30 seconds I knew why my Dad thought so highly of him--his kindness and quick wit were such a blessing to me during that most devastating time in my life and I am so grateful that I had finally gotten a chance to meet him. Please know that all of you are in my thoughts and prayers.
