Virgil F. Perry, 95, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2013. He was predeceased by his first wife, Gladys (Carson) Perry and brother, Myron Perry. He is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Phyllis Perry; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Susan Perry, Stuarts Draft, VA, John and Joanne Perry, Windsor, NY, Mike and Phoebe Perry, Fredericksburg, VA; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Virgil served in the Army National Guard and was a Town of Kirkwood Councilman for three terms. He was a member of the Elks Club and the Knights of Columbus. Virgil enjoyed gardening and loved using the computer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 2, 2013, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Route 11, Kirkwood. The family will welcome friends at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
