Brink, Melvin J.

Windsor: Melvin J. Brink, 83, went to be with his sons Tuesday, October 15, 2013. He was predeceased by his sons John and Doug Brink. He is survived by his favorite eldest daughter Lori & Jerry Hadlick and his favorite youngest daughter Juli Brink and David Brown; grandchildren Leon, Nicki & Amanda; three great granddaughters Kahlan, Camryn & Lillyan and his little dog Tasha. He was Army Veteran and a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 571. He retired from Bell Telephone Company after 25 years of service and also worked at the Daytona Speedway and the Riverside Cemetery in Windsor, NY. He loved telling stories, flying his Piper Colt, bringing his great granddaughters green apples, throwing Tasha her squeaky toy but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. A graveside memorial service will be held Monday, October 21, 2013, 11am in the Riverside Cemetery, Windsor, NY. The family will receive friends at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson, Friday, October 18, 2013 from 4-7pm.
