Knight, William E. Sr.

Windsor: William E. Knight Sr. "Uncle Bill", 83 of Windsor, NY, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2013. He is predeceased by his parents George and Velma Knight; bothers Donald and George, and sister Virginia. Uncle Bill is survived by his daughter Michelle Knight and daughter Tracey Stamp; Son-in-Law Tracy Stamp; grandsons Jack and Benjamin Stamp; bother Milton Knight and jean. He leaves behind many friends who knew him well and loved him dearly. Uncle bill was proud to be a retired Teamster member, and an active member of the American Legion Post 1645. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a decorated Sergeant First Class. He loved to play horseshoes and was truly fond of his teammates and league members. Following his wishes, Uncle Bill was laid to rest with his father, on November 15, 2013 at the Riverview Cemetery in Hancock, NY.
