Mary Blincoe Obituary

Blincoe, Mary

Mary L. Blincoe 87, of Kirkwood passed away peacefully on November 17, 2013. She is predeceased by her husband Paul C. Blincoe. She is survived by a son and daughter in law James and Barbara and their children Kelly and Brandon Sunderlin, Travis Blincoe; two great grandsons Sean Michael and Carter James Sunderlin. She is also survived by a son and daughter in law, Charles and Robin and their children Charles and Casey Blincoe, Paul Blincoe and Sarah and Matthew Acquisto; five great-grandchildren Kendall, Aidan and Gavin Blincoe, Mason and Abigail Acquisto. Mary was also survived by two sisters Dorothy (Don) Furry of Virginia and Marie (George) Sziraki of California; as well as many nieces and nephews. Mary was a quiet, caring mother and grandmother who took pride in her independence and self-reliance. Mary proudly supported her grandchildren in their many endeavors. She received great comfort and companionship from our two dogs Madison and Abbi. The family would like to give special thanks to Don and Sue Roe for their great friendship, her wonderful caregiver Pam and the caring staff of Seton 1 at Lourdes Hospital and Susquehanna Nursing Home. The family will receive family and friends on Tuesday from 4 to 7pm at the THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME INC. 137 Robinson St. Binghamton, NY. A Funeral Service will be held 10am Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Godfrey Corners Cemetery, Guilford, NY. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Humane Society, 2 Jackson St. Binghamton, NY 13903 in Mary's memory.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. Mary was such a joy every time I came over. I will always remember her and the wonderful talks we had. I am so happy that I had the chance to help you and your family with helping her. My deepest prayers go out to too at this very sorrowful time.
