James Clark Obituary

Clark, James

43, of Greene: Beloved Father, son, brother, uncle, and husband passed from this earth into the arms of the Lord on March 31st, 2014. Jim was born on June 12th, 1970, the son of Jon and Cherrie Clark, who will miss him dearly. He is survived by his son, Gage and his wife, Jennifer. He is also survived by his brothers, John (Sheryl), Dane (Angela) and Justin. Jim is also survived by a special niece, Madison and a beloved Uncle Danny and Aunt Maxine. He will be missed greatly by his many nieces, nephews, mother-in-law, Judy and many brothers and sisters-in-law, who he loved so very much. Jim graduated from Greene Central High School and Syracuse University which allowed him to pursue his passion as a MRI Technician, a job he loved in addition to the many patients he served over the years. In addition, Jim was an avid golfer who enjoyed playing with his family and special friends. Jim will be remembered for his sense of humor, his joy of life and his service to his friends, family, and patients. His greatest joy was the time he spent with his son during his time assisting as a coach during many sports. We the family, are grateful for the time the Lord blessed us with Jim's presence. Friends may call Thursday, April 3, 2014, between the hours of 5:30 and 8:00 p.m. at Root Funeral Home, 23 North Chenango Street, Greene, NY 13778 and condolences may be sent to the family at www.rootfh.com.

I can't believe a year's come and gone by
I'll never forget you --- you were such an awesome guy.
We could never understand what happened that day
But God had a plan ---and it happened this way.
Jennifer, Gage and families are on our minds
And you are remembered as one of a kind.

Love and miss you friend.

I pray for your well being, extend the hope you found healing and strength to build a life of happiness. May you fulfill your life dreams and grow in love. God Bless.

It's hard to believe it's almost a year gone by. My great memories of Jim will always remain with me. He was one of the best hard working x-Ray student. We always tend to remember the good and forget the bad but I can honestly say there is nothing bad I can recall or remember about Jim. You and your family will remain in my thoughts and prayers always. God bless you now and in the future. Eric E.

Dear Mrs. Clark, Our thoughts and prayers go out to you, your son and family during this sorrowful time. Your husband was my tech when I had my MRI's. I have to tell you he was the most thoughtful, considerate, kind and caring person I have ever met. His smile was contagious and his laugh was even more so when I would ask him to play certain kind of music that he thought was ancient. He always remembered me and when I would come in for test, he would apologize for not having my brand of music but he would suggest other tunes from my generation, with a hearty laugh. He was also a very gentle man who would make sure my comfort came first before testing. I want you to know all of this because in my encounters with your husband when I needed testing to him my comfort and happiness came first. He just was a wonderful care giver and I want you, your son and family to keep these thoughts in your heart. God Bless you all.

April 4, 2014

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
