Beatrice B. Mohr
of Oxford
Beatrice B. Mohr, 79, of Oxford, went to with her Lord on October 18, 2002. She was predeceased by her daughter, Marsha; parents, Clinton and Ethel Brigham; and three sisters, Marie Jacobsen, Ruth Mandrell and Helen Hibbard. Beatrice is survived by her husband, Bud Mohr; one daughter, Linda Mohr, Gettysburg, Pa.; two sons, Gary Mohr and Carol Monroe, Oxford, Randy and Diane Mohr, Norwich; a sister, Kathryn Porter, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; sister-in-law, Lillian Boeltz, Greene; brothers-in-law, August Jacobsen, Norwich and Davenport, Fla., and Stuart (Frances) Mohr, Smithville Flats; four grandchildren, Kaitland and Stacia Mohr, and Alana and Sarah Whitney, all of Norwich; and many nieces and nephews. Beatrice was a 58 year member of Fort Hill Post American Legion, having served in the Air Force as an IBM programmer during WWII. She was an avid camper and snowbird, and loved her winters in Florida. Her experience in the service aided her in her occupations. First working in advertising in Norwich Pharmacy and Norwich Knitting, and then many years in NBT Bank in Norwich. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 21, 2002 at 2 p.m. from the Behe Funeral Home, Oxford, with the Rev. Bruce MacDuffie, Vicar of St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Oxford, officiating. Burial with full military honors by members of Fort Hill Post will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Oxford. Friends may call at the Behe Funeral Home, Oxford on Monday from 12 noon until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the NYS Veterans' Home, Attn: Guild, 4211 State Highway 2220, Oxford, N.Y., or the Oxford Fire Department.
