Passed away on December 26, 2012 in Petaluma. Devoted husband of Doris Peracca of Petaluma. Cherished father of Robert Peracca of Ramona, James Peracca and Donna Peracca both of Petaluma, and the late Ernie Peracca. Adored grandfather of Marci, Richelle and Guido Peracca all of Ramona; Valenteen Militello of Santa Rosa; Julianna Abadallah of Windsor; and the late Craig Peracca. Beloved great-grandfather of Abriana, Davion, Caprice and Vito. Loving brother of Columbia Tamagno, Mary Pronzini, Enes Joerger, Benny Peracca, Sam Peracca, and the late John, Gene, Joe, Vic, Stephen, Catherine, Victor Peracca; Kate Piazza; and Norma Harmon. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Age: 95 years. Paul was born, reared and educated in Sonoma County. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for the County of Sonoma for 30 years. His greatest pleasures in life were hunting, fishing, abalone diving, and working in his shop. Above all, he loved his family; he will be missed. The family extends a special thank you to Hospice of Petaluma and Paul's caregivers, Krista Gotham and Tess Peracca, for their great care of Paul. At his request, no services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Petaluma, 416 Payran St., Petaluma, CA 94952. Family assisted by PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, Petaluma.
