Born 12/26/1921 born in Wynoka, OK and raised in Tucumcari, NM went to be with his Savior 3/6/2013 at the age of 91. Surviving "Chuck" is his wife of almost 62 years and his best friend, Nancy. Also surviving are his three children, Tom, Kathy and Bob, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Following his service in WW2 with the Seabee's in the Navy he obtained his CPA designation and practiced privately and as a corporate CFO for Market Wholesale Grocery Distributors in Santa Rosa for many years before retiring here. Chuck will always be remembered for his quiet, patient, wise and gentle manner. Forever a servant and never desiring to be in the limelight, he quietly went about his Saviors' work of caring and loving others. One of his friends wrote, "what a privilege to have known this gentle, sweet man." To that we are sure he would say, "not me, but Christ in me". His legacy of excellence and love is left for us to admire, consider and imitate. We will miss him but look forward to seeing him again. Chuck desired that any donations in his name be made to Giving Tree Assembly of God Church in Santa Rosa. SANTA ROSA MEMORIAL PARK EGGEN & LANCE MORTUARY
