February 12 1943 - November 21 2012 Born in Murfreesboro, Tenn., Howard spent his childhood on military bases all over the country. He grew up hunting and fishing and had a passion for cars and boats. At age 17, he joined the Marine Corps, working as a weapons trainer and mechanic. He enjoyed a successful career as a car salesman and sales manager in the San Francisco Bay Area and spent the last 25 years of his career as the used car manager at Freeman Toyota in Santa Rosa. He retired in 2010 and moved to his home by the river in Anderson, CA. Howard spent his free time fishing, traveling, playing golf and tennis, but he mostly cherished time spent with family and friends.
