Janet was born on January 24 1939 and was the daughter of Marda and Robert Aldridge of Forestville CA. She is predeceased by her son Todd Sitton who passed away in June 1984. Janet was raised in Forestville, with her two younger brothers Barry and David. She attended and was an active student at Forestville Elementary and Analy High School. She met her husband Gary in 1956 while at Analy. She attended and graduated from SRJC in 1959 and then moved to San Jose where she and Gary both attended SJSU. They were married in 1961. They were married 51 years. Janet and Gary moved back to Sonoma County in 1964 where they spent brief time in Santa Rosa and then moved back to Forestville.
