Louis Battista ZAMARONI

Entered into rest at home surrounded by his family in Santa Rosa, CA on January 12, 2013. Dearly beloved father of Cristine C. (Edward) Rogers, Sandra J. Zamaroni and Louie G. (Becky) Zamaroni, all of Santa Rosa. Adored grandfather of Joseph Rogers, Nicholas Rogers, Kevin Rogers, Angelina Valentine, Taylor Zamaroni and Tanner Zamaroni. Loving brother of Celia Cunningham, also of Santa Rosa. A native and life-long resident of Santa Rosa, age 84 years. Louis is preceded in death by his loving wife of fifty-six years, Elsie Angelina. Louis was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church, the Y.M.I. Branch #40, Knights of Columbus, Italian-American Club and the Italian Catholic Federation. Louis was the co-founder of Z & G Quarry, now known as Wheeler Zamaroni Landscape Supplies. He lived his life according to his deep spiritual values. His unconditional love and generosity was felt by ALL who knew him. His family (especially his beloved Elsie), was his "Pride and Joy". The family wishes to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to Louis' caregiver, Charlie Loiti, for the tender care he rendered over the years to our father. Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a Funeral Mass on Friday, January 18, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Rose Catholic Church (398-10th Street, Santa Rosa, CA, 95401). Private interment; Calvary Catholic Cemetery; Santa Rosa, CA. LAFFERTY & SMITH COLONIAL CHAPEL (4321 Sonoma Highway, Santa Rosa, CA 95409) will provide visitation hours in the Fireside Room on Thursday, January 17, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions in Louis' name are suggested to the St. Rose School Memorial Program (4300 Old Redwood Highway, Santa Rosa, CA, 95403) -or- to Sutter Care at Home (1110 No. Dutton Avenue, Santa Rosa, CA 95401).
