Luella R. MCCLINTOCK

At 87, born May 3, 1925 passed away peacefully in her home on March 15, 2013 in Rohnert Park. Lue is survived by her younger brother Earl (Marge) Kimmel of El Paso, TX. Also survived by her daughters Kathleen (Jim) McHugh of Petaluma, and Noreen McClintock of El Dorado Hills, a very proud grandmother to eight and great-grandmother of six. Lue graduated with the Class of '43, from Santa Rosa High, and went on to SRJC, finishing her education at S.F. Business School. She eventually worked at Santa Rosa City Hall, and then for Shell Oil Co. She was married to Irwin (Ty) McClintock for 44 loving years, who preceded her in death, along with her two sons, Kerry and Kevin. Lue volunteered many years at the Rocklin Library, over 500 hours at Roseville Hospital, and was a Neighborhood Watch Block Captain where she was a 20-year resident. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 22, 2013 at Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, 6365 Douglass Blvd, Granite Bay, internment to follow at Rocklin Cemetery.
