Thomas Frank CURTIN

Passed away January 7, 2013 in Santa Rosa. Thomas was born July 7, 1927 in Willits, CA. He lived in Willits, Ukiah, Panama, and Arizona as a youth. He graduated from Wickenburg High School in Wickenburg, AZ. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II on the USS Cowpens. Thomas and his brother owned Industrial Electric in Ukiah and Willits. He was an electrician and a member of the IBEW until his retirement. Thomas married Frances Maxine Longnickel in 1948 and they lived in Willits, Ukiah and Santa Rosa. Both Thomas and Maxine were council members of Bethel 300 of the International Order of Jobs Daughters in Santa Rosa where he served as Associate Guardian. In 1971 they moved to San Francisco where he worked for Collins Electric until his retirement and they returned to Santa Rosa where they resided at Shamrock Mobile Home Park. He is survived by his three daughters, Janet Erickson of Santa Rosa, Rebecca Rothaermel of Deer Park, WA, and Judy Lilley and her husband Rodger of Sparks, NV. Thomas was Grandad to Brian Erickson of Santa Rosa, Thomas and Michael McCabe and Amy Meese of WA, Matthew Lilley of Sparks, NV, Jonathan Lilley of Santa Rosa, and Meghann Lilley of San Francisco. He is also survived by six great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday March 23 at 1:00 at the Chapel at Santa Rosa Memorial Park, 1900 Franklin Ave., Santa Rosa.
