John Pinheiro Obituary

Passed away September 18, 2010, beloved husband for 63 years of the late Ana E. Pinheiro of Petaluma, who preceded him in death on August 17, 2010. Loving father of Manuel (Kathleen) Pinheiro of The Dalles, OR and Mary (Dick) Pinheiro Williams of Petaluma. Cherished grandfather of Natalie Kalogiannis of Cotati, David Mattos of Petaluma, Michael Pinheiro and Lurel Smith both of The Dalles, OR. Brother of Edward Pinheiro of MA, Maria Cunha of Corte Madera and the late Joe Pinheiro. Also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A native of Faial, Azores. Age 90 years. John was a resident of Petaluma since 1984. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 22, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. Family and friends are also invited to attend the Funeral Liturgy, Thursday, September 23, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at PARENT-SORENSEN. Interment will follow at Cypress Hill Memorial Park. The family prefer memorials be made to Hospice of Petaluma.

Thank John for being a 2nd father to me and my brother. Growing up with you was always fun, exciting and full of laughs. I thank you for the the places you took me as a child, the park to play, wresling matches, hamburgers on friday nights and the ocean. I will miss you and love you forever. Wanda
