Louis "Rey" GUZMAN Sr.

Louis GUZMAN Obituary

Died at home October 7, 2013 at the age of 79. He was the loving husband of Norma for over 43 years, and the dear father of Victoria (Clancy) Burns, Rey Guzman Jr. partner Robert Rodriquez, Karen Cason, and Laurena (Traber) Burns. Rey was the grand-father of; Richard, Haley, Corin Burns, Andrew Powers, Mindi Emmons and Traber Burns, and great grandchildren; Raven, Gianna Burns and Sophia Emmons. He was the beloved brother of George (Robyn) Guzman, Dolores (John) Horsefield and Linda (Gary) Bricker. Rey was born in Fresno and came to Healdsburg at the age of one. He attended Healds-burg schools and after graduation he entered the National Guard, serving seven years. He had a 34 year career in the lumber mill business and retired from Louisiana Pacific Lumber. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, being out-doors and spending time with his family. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service Saturday, October 12, at 1:00 p.m. at Fred Young Funeral Home, 428 N. Cloverdale Blvd. Cloverdale. Inurnment will be private. Memorial contributions pre-ferred to Healdsburg Boys Club. Fred Young F.H. Cloverdale 707-894-2540
