Austin Michael Sandoval, 22, of Santa Rosa, passed away peacefully in the presence of loved ones on April 20, 2013. He was born November 11, 1990 in Santa Rosa and was a 2008 graduate of Windsor High School. Austin was a devoted son to his mother, Sherrie (Corbett) Sandoval, of Sebastopol, and his father, Michael, and wife Ramona, of Windsor. He is also survived by his brothers Nick and James of Windsor, loving fiancé, Mariah Schweiffler, of Santa Rosa. He also leaves his grandparents, Judie Corbett, and James Corbett, both of Santa Rosa, great-grandmother, Minnie Corbit, of Sebastopol, and in memoriam grandparents, Chris and Vera Sandoval, of New Mexico. Austin was blessed to have a large family of aunts, uncles and cousins across the country, including an aunt, Joann Ellis, and uncle, Steve Corbett, both from Santa Rosa. Austin made a profound and indelible impression on those who knew him. Heaven must've required a special angel, so God called Austin home. He could always be counted on to lend a hand (his technological know-how will be particularly missed) and he never said goodbye without first flashing an infectious smile, giving a warm hug, and saying a sincere "I love you." Family and friends are invited to a memorial/celebration of Austin's life on Sunday, April 28, 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Riverfront Park, 7821 Eastside Road, Windsor.
