October 28, 1937- October 25, 2012 Barbara Lusardi passed away peacefully in her sleep 47 days following her husband, Fred. Barbara was the daughter of the late Cecilia and Paul Spagnoli. She leaves behind her loving daughters, Chris Lusardi and Nette Lusardi, granddaughters Allison Fears and Hannah Cook, great granddaughter Kylie Fears, her devoted brothers and sisters in law, Paul (Diane) Spagnoli, Roger (Susan) Spagnoli, her devoted brothers in law and their spouses, John (Chris) Lusardi and Larry (Ruby) Lusardi. She was very loved by her nieces and nephews. Barbara attended Mercy High School in San Francisco were she met Fred. They were married 55 years. They began their family in San Francisco and raised them in Burlingame. She opened up the Blossom Peddler Florist in Redwood City. She pursued her passion for horses, living in Sonoma and Grass Valley to breed and show miniatures. It became a family affair. A mass for both Barbara and Fred will be celebrated on Friday, November 30 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Angels Church in Burlingame. In lieu of flowers, donations to "Horse Plus Humane Society, PO Box 6108, Oroville CA 95966" would be welcomed.
