Billy Sisler Obituary

Born on November 16th, 1925 in Dewey County, Oklahoma, he passed away peacefully with his family at his bedside on September 5, 2010 in Walnut Creek, CA. He lived in Sebastopol for 21 years, until he retired and then he and his loving wife moved to Grand Junction, Colorado. In September 2009 they moved to Concord, CA to be close to all of their family. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Virginia Sisler. They had a wonderful life together, they raised three wonderful children together. Billy was an avid gardener, he loved working and caring for his summer gardens in Sebastopol and Grand Junction. Billy loved to tell stories to his family about when he was a young boy growing up. He also was the happiest when his family was all around him. He loved going up to his daughter Gail's home on Thursday nights for dinner and being around his five great-grandchildren. He loved to tell stories to his family about things he did with them when they were small. He will be missed by all who knew him and loved him. To my husband, our father, grandfather and great grandpa, we all will miss you dearly, you will forever be in our hearts. Please rest in peace always and forever. We love you. He is survived by his daughters Gail (Rick) Pink of Concord, CA, Karen (Mark) Stewart of Sebastopol, CA, son Donald Sisler of Santa Rosa, CA; grandchildren: Rachael Pink, Renee (Jay) Gragg, Ryan Stewart; great-grandchildren: Tayler Harriman, Dillon Pink, Jordan, Justin and Jayme Gragg. Per his request, no services were held.
