Claudio Fablé, of Santa Rosa, California quietly passed away at Sutter Medical Center on Chanate, November 7th, 2012. Recently back at home and steadily improving after a recent severe stroke, he suffered a sudden loss of consciousness and heart attack from which he never awoke. For the seventh son, born on the seventh day of the seventh month, it seemed truly fitting that he left us that day. Born to Mateo Fablé and Katarina (Francola), in Kršan, Istra when it was still a part of Mussolini's Italy, (Croatia, now), he is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Christina, and their only child Peter Fablé. Service will take place at 12:30 p.m. on Monday November 19th at Calvalry Catholic Cemetery, located at 2930 Bennett Valley Road in Santa Rosa, fittingly close to the property Claudio so proudly developed in the 90's (Fablé Country Estates). Fablé Court, just up the road, is now his permanent legacy here in Santa Rosa, along with yet another street named Fablé in El Sobrante. Never let it be said Claudio was humble! Family and friends are invited to join us at the chapel, or the family home immediately afterwards for a reception; 3441 Castlerock Court, Santa Rosa. (707) 527-5589.
