Donald Cain passed away peacefully at home at the age of 69, with his wife Anna, family and friends. Don was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina to Lois and Emmett Cain; along with Ann Crib and Betty Ellis. He served in the Navy for seven years as a Seabee-Construction Mechanic during the Vietnam War. After completing his tour of duty he went to work for United Airlines as a mechanic in San Francisco, retiring to Clearlake in 2002. Don had many skills and his generosities were legendary. He loved fixing things around his home or for his family, friends and neighbors. His celebration of life will be at his home in Clearlake on July 23, at 10:00 a.m. His wishes are that any remembrances be donated to Hospice, 1717 S. Main St., Lakeport, CA 95453-5668.
