Children are loaned to us by God, and when He calls them home, it is both sad and comforting. May you, Everett and Claire Marie, be blessed by the peace of knowing Everett is home and free.

Everett, although you departed this life far too early, you are rich with the love of your family and friends, to whom I extend my deepest heartfelt condolences.

Although I didn't know Everett, I can see from others that he was deeply loved and will be missed. To live a life filled with love is the best gift you were given. Peace in your new world.

Everett, My dear son thank you for teaching me how to love...many tears. You are now free and I am very happy for you. Please protect, comfort and guide your sister Yvette. You two have always been like identical twins, one always knew what the other was thinking or feeling. Love, Dad

It is hard to believe my beloved nephew, Everett, is gone from our lives. He is dearly loved. I will miss his smile and sense of humor. He was purely thankful when the sun shined, or when the rain fell. Thankful to his mom's love and care so diligently given. His family and friends always were beside him cheering him on and he did press on to enjoy life through music, knowledge, nature, and through his family and friends. It is comforting to know Everett is free from the tortuous bind of muscular dystrophy, welcomed with love and finally free in paradise.

As Everett's nurse on the day he passed, I was deeply touched by the intense love that surrounded him as his spirit left this world to enter heaven. The love his family, friends and pastor displayed are a testament to the wonderful person he must have been. His memory, I am sure will live on forever in the hearts of those fortunate to have known him.

We were sorry to hear about the loss of Everett. We met Everett and his family many years ago and we know how much his mom did for him to keep him at home. It will hard for the family to go on without their beloved brother and son but we all know that he is in a better place now. We know what Paula and her family has gone through because of our son is still going through a lot of things.
