George Cavnar Obituary

Entered into this life February 28, 1942 and has gone to be with the Lord on September 16, 2010. George was born in Elk City, OK., but grew up in the Santa Rosa area. After his tour of duty in the Navy, he moved to the Los Angeles area. Moving to Weed, CA in the 1980's. George leaves behind is wife Jeanie; three boys: Johnathan, and Daniel Cavnar and Peter Volker; daughter Jodie Brady; three sisters: Doris, Laura, and Mary; brother Cayce Cavnar; five grandchildren; deceased parents Grover and Georgia Cavnar; son Patrick Cavnar; brothers Jim Cavnar, Homer Chapman and Gene Parker. Services to be held at a later date.

I will miss you Uncle Wesley, ever since you came into my life in the 80's you brightened my life. You made me feel like I belonged here. I will miss our phone calls. I am so blessed to have gotten to see you the Sunday before your passing. I Love You Unk

Sorry to hear of the lost of Wes, it will take time but he will not be forgotten by many. It has been about 55 years since the last time Wes and I seen each other and the internet made up for it in our "airspace" bonding.
Was hoping that Wes could have came back to Healdsburg recently but not the case.
Everyone will miss you Wes so rest in peace my friend.

Wes, you did good. Your love for your family was tremendous and you always stayed in touch with family from out of your area. I will miss
your phone calls during Holidays, and your emails which always put a smile on my face. Your job is done here and now you can rest in peace with the Lord. You will have always a little corner in my heart.
