My husband, Henry, and I knew Harry from B of A in Petaluma. We banked there from the time we were married and moved to Petaluma in 1967. Soon after our youngest son went to college, we had a message from Harry on our answering machine one day when we got home from work. "Henry, Gayle, this is Harry at Bank of America. Raymond has overdrawn his checking account. I covered it, but could one of you come in tomorrow and take care of this?" You could just hear the amused smile in his voice on the message. But that was the kind of caring, personable man Harry was.
Judging from the type of person he was, I know his family and friends are the best, too. I know from experience that they will see you through this difficult time.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in your loss. May God bless you.
