I met Henry only once, but liked him immediately. I've known Sandy since we worked together and carpooled to SFSU in the '70s. Just from knowing Sandy, I know Henry had to be something very special. Your family will be in my thoughts.

My dad was an amazing person. He overcame so many obstacles, didn't dwell on them, and centered his life around family and helping others. I wish more people could have met him! He will forever live in our hearts.

I read at his funeral service, "One day, your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure it is worth watching. For every man dies, but not every man truly lives."
My Grandfather truly lived his life. He lived for himself, and he lived for others. He was an absolutely amazing and inspirational person, and I will forever miss having him in my life.

I am employed in one of the places where Henry volunteered. It was always a pleasure to see and speak with him. He will be missed.

Henry and I worked together for several years where he volunteered. It was a pleasure knowing him; many did not know this, but Henry has a great sense of humor. We shared the same birthday (month/day) and every year without fail Henry would send me an e-card. I'll miss getting those from him. My thoughts and prayers go to his family and friends.

It has been my honor to sit on the Emergency Medical Care Committee with Henry for years. Henry's dedication to EMS has been commendable and we greatly appraciate his many years of service.
