Went to be with the Lord on 11-21-2012; he died at age 96. Survived by his wife Sue Hallman. Devoted husband, for 67 years until 2004, to Ura E. Hallman; loving father of Wanda McIntosh (husband James), Barbara Wheeler (husband William), and David Hallman (wife Carol). Survived by 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces & nephews. HL Hallman was born in Dallas TX, on 8-21-1916. He began evangelizing in 1932 in CA and TX until 1951 when he moved to Santa Rosa to start a new UPC church. In 1956 the Hallman family moved to Riverbank, CA where he continued to pastor a congregation along with preaching on the radio. Property was purchased in 1959 on Tupper St. Santa Rosa, where he started and pastored a church. In 1972 the church moved to 7th St in Santa Rosa. From 1978 to 1989 HL Hallman continued his service as a missionary in Ensanada, Mexico. Friends and family are invited to attend funeral services on Monday, December 3 at 12:00 p.m. at the Promise Center Church, 791 Lombardi Ct., Santa Rosa, Ca 95407. Pastor Chadwick King officiating the service. No visitation. Internment at Santa Rosa Memorial Park, SR, CA. Contributions may be sent to the Promise Center, 791 Lombardi Crt., Santa Rosa, Ca 95407.
