Passed away at his Rohnert Park residence on November 14, 2012. Beloved husband of 52 years to Neva Fleckenstein. Loving father of Mike Fleckenstein (Lee) of Santa Rosa, David Fleckenstein (Tammy) of Vacaville, and Julie Fleckenstein-Jacobs (Craig) of Campbell, CA. Doting grandfather of Valerie Fleckenstein and Alex Fleckenstein of Santa Rosa. Jack was born on December 20, 1933 in Baltimore, MD and was a resident of Sonoma County for 46 years. A Korean War Veteran, Jack proudly served in the US Navy. Jack was a long time member of UA Local 38 Plumbers Union and after he retired, spent 10 enjoyable years working as a 'hiker' for Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Jack was a rabidly devoted fan of the 49ers and the Giants. He loved to test his cooking skills on his family; enjoyed traveling, especially cruises, with his lovely wife; and was a voracious reader. A Celebration of Jack's Life will be held on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012 at 12 Noon at the Valley Village Club House, 6401 Country Club Dr., Rohnert Park.
