Dearest Joe,
You were such a kind, wonderful light when I really needed a "dear uncle" in my life. Bless you for your kindness, great cheer and beautiful gardens and vineyards. You made my stay as your and Rita's tenant such a peaceful, safe time. You were also a great kitty sitter for my Cecelia when I was able to travel.
Your light will always shine. I know you are watching over Heaven's gardens and vineyards, making wonderful wine. You are missed!

You were a true, gentle spirit. I learned something new every time I talked to you, mostly over the fence at Marsha's place. You showed me how to graft our Apricot tree, so that it would produce. A bit of you is in every jar of jam that we make. We will miss you, Joe.
