Karl Barrell Obituary

Karl Richard Barrell was born in Wichita, Kansas October 29, 1936. A resident of Mission Viejo, he died September 20, 2010. Karl was predeceased by his parents, Franz and Katherine and his younger brother, Gene. He is survived by his wife Carole of Mission Viejo and his children, Tony in Arizona, Mari in California, Peter in Louisiana, and Karla in Montana; and by his grandchildren Krista and Tim and Max and Hailey; and his sister, Ann Alfaro; and by many bereaved relatives. A long time resident of Penngrove, Karl was a 4-H leader, a volunteer fireman, a member of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic church and an American Airlines pilot for 37 years. Memorial donations may be made to: the National Parkinson's Disease Association. He will be missed.

All of us here at the Redwood Club were saddened to hear of Karls passing. He was an exemplary individual, and during our time together at the club we enjoyed him greatly Our prayers are with you.
